Nationality: Chinese
Born in 1941 and became a member of China Academy school in 1958,
he specialized in designing for light industrial production after
his gratuation.
In 1979 he became the assistant art and craft designer, in 1981,
art and craft designer and soon senier art and craft designer. Many
of his students entered China Academy and he was invited to teach
in China Academy twice.
He often took the place as the main disigner
for light industrial products exihibition in east part of China.
He was able to create a poetic and sometimes brooding or tragic mood
in his landscapes.
This can been seen in his many mature works. He is
also successful as a portrait painter and his group portraits for
scientists have won awards.
He also painted many decorative frescoes for "China Tea Museum",
"Zhejiang Agriculture Bank", "Suzhou Garden Museum" etc.
After his
retiring in 1996, he specialized in oil paintings and travelled widely
in China.
He visited famous mountains and scenic sites to gather
materials for his creation. Now he is collected in the book of "World
Artists' Biographies".
